Welcome to Fit Girl Yoga! Whether you’ve been practicing yoga for 5 weeks, 5 months, or 5 years, one thing’s for sure: You don’t start a yoga practice because everything in your life is PERFECT. We usually start because there’s something wrong; maybe it’s something BIG AND SCARY like an identity crisis, or maybe it’s simply the desire to become more fit and flexible. While we all come to yoga for different reasons, there’s a lot you pick up in the practice that maybe you didn’t even know you needed … things like self-acceptance ALL throughout your journey - a self-awareness of the body and mind which leads to a better relationship with yourself and those around you.

This guide is meant to be an outline to help you begin crafting your at-home yoga practice. We want to show you one way to structure things, but yoga does NOT fit inside of any box. All we ask is that you listen to your body and do what is good for YOU.
