This meal plan was written while we were on lockdown, hidden away from the world. Sometimes it got lonely, but cooking brought our little Fit Girl family together during this time. While we didn’t have the usual hustle and bustle of our extended family and friends coming in and out, trying our recipes and sharing their thoughts, we made do just with the thought of sharing them with all of you from afar. Cooking can bring us together no matter the distance. And that is something that inspired us every step of the way while crafting these recipes: the thought of our wonderful community cooking them up, sharing their photos, coming up with new spins and different flavors… that is what kept us pushing through!

Think comfort. Think warmth. Think colors. And think comfort again. Because we’ve got tacos. We’ve got lasagna. We’ve got veggie stew. And donuts and cheesecake and PINA COLADAS! You know, all the essentials of a global pandemic. At least if you’re anything like us, that is!
